Listening to Goodbye Yellow Brick Road – Sara Bareilles

I had a compulsive urge to see waterfalls and ended up at Burgess Falls where I was rewarded with not one, but three! The hike was relatively short but the views alone made it worth the hour and a half drive. Other than an almost face plant on some slippery rocks, it was a good day. I mean, this day did include barbeque.

I also needed a break from revisions on my new manuscript that I plan on releasing soon. Honestly, it has been a productive writing year. I revised and released an older YA manuscript, Be Still, My Soul, and finished two new manuscripts both written for adults. If there is a bright spot to this year that has so far has been laden with loss and some major disappointments, I would say this is definitely one of them.
